Whether you are visiting, a new member to our community, or someone looking for a church home, we invite you to worship with us on Sundays. Worship service is held at 9:00 am, and Sunday School/Life Academy at 8:00 am

Our church is made up of people who are on a spiritual journey. We are all learning what it means to know and follow Jesus and bring His love to others. We love everyone to life. We are not perfect, but in Christ, we have found grace, love, and courage to face life’s challenges.

We encourage you to listen to the sermons on our site to allow God’s Word to touch your heart and spirit.

The History of Second Mt. Moriah

In July 1887, the record shows that an orderly council properly organized the church with sixteen (16) members. The council consisted of the following ministers: Rev. A.L. Byrd, A.S. Blanchard, William Dunn, and Rev. H.C. Brown. The following members were in the organization: Bros. D.L. Day, John Benning, Edmond Day, Stephen Benning, Eddie Henderson, James Cann, Moses D’Antignac, Arthur Cann, and Henry Boswell; Sisters Hannah Day, Martha Benning, Sally Day, Nancy Boswell and Nancy Henderson.
